Workshop on Academic Writing for International Scientific Journals ICLJ Series 4
FSH NEWS, Ruang Rapat Madya – The 8th International Conference on Law and Justice (ICLJ) at the Faculty of Sharia and Law held the 4th series of Workshop on Writing Articles for International Scientific Journals to learn about the selection of national and international journals that will publish scientific articles.
Windy Triana, M.A., Ph.D. was the speaker for this series 4 workshop along with moderator Nurlaili Rahmawati, M.H.I.
After the previous workshop discussed the technical aspects of writing scientific articles, the speaker explained in this session how to choose the right journal to submit scientific articles and avoid predatory journals. "Look for journals that have the same focus as the topic of the article being written, because journals have processes to maintain the quality of the material published," explained Windy Triana, M.A., Ph.D. (Wednesday, 07/02/2024).
In addition, it is also important to note that in order for an article to be accepted, the discussion must be unique, non-plagiarized, and written in accordance with the guidelines of the target journal. The speaker also reminded that articles should be submitted to one journal first, and if rejected, only then can they be submitted to another journal or withdrawn from the previous journal to be submitted to another (LFM).
